Reaction

"I'm really pleased with the performance of the team," said Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta. "We started the match very well and created a lot of chances. We were clinical in front of goal and took our chances well."

"We had to dig deep in the second half, but we showed great character and determination to hold on for the win," Arteta added.

"We're top of the league now, but there's still a long way to go," Arteta said. "We need to keep working hard and taking it one game at a time."
