Two-time Olympic 100m champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has scorched the track, setting the world's fastest women's 100m time in nearly 33 years at the Monaco Diamond League on Saturday.

The 34-year-old Jamaican clocked a blazing 10.62 seconds, eclipsing the previous best time of 10.71 seconds set by her in the 2019 world 100m final.

Fraser-Pryce's blistering pace propelled her up to third place on the women's 100m all-time list. Her blistering start, covering the first 60m in an astonishing 6.81 seconds, marks the fastest 60m split ever recorded.

This victory adds to Fraser-Pryce's impressive resume, which includes five world championships in the 100m and two Olympic gold medals.
