Positional Grades: Steelers At Falcons

Steelers

Quarterback

Mitch Trubisky struggled in his first start for the Steelers, completing just 21 of 33 passes for 168 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He was also sacked three times and had a passer rating of just 72.9.

Running Back

Najee Harris led the Steelers in rushing with 86 yards on 20 carries, but he also fumbled twice, losing one. Benny Snell Jr. added 45 yards on 11 carries.

Wide Receiver

Diontae Johnson was Trubisky's favorite target, catching six passes for 54 yards and a touchdown. Chase Claypool had four catches for 42 yards, and George Pickens had three catches for 32 yards.

Tight End

Pat Freiermuth had a quiet game, catching just two passes for 13 yards.

Offensive Line

The Steelers' offensive line struggled to protect Trubisky, allowing three sacks and seven quarterback hits.

Defensive Line

The Steelers' defensive line was able to generate some pressure on Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota, sacking him twice and hitting him four times.

Linebacker

The Steelers' linebackers played well, led by TJ Watt, who had two sacks and four quarterback hits. Devin Bush added seven tackles and an interception.

Secondary

The Steelers' secondary had a tough day, allowing Mariota to throw for 322 yards and two touchdowns. Minkah Fitzpatrick had a team-high eight tackles, but he also allowed a touchdown pass to Kyle Pitts.
